Michel Ciry , born in La Baule the31 August 1919Is an artist – writer , writer and composer French . Since 1960, he lives and works in Normandy in Varengeville-sur-Mer .

Student at the School of Applied Arts in Paris from 1934 to 1937, Michel Ciry serious its first copper in 1935 and starts at the exhibition “Artists of the Time” at the Petit Palais in 1938.
shareholder is appointed to the Society of Painters French engravers in 1941.
During the Occupation , it is part of the official medium of artists near Vichy regime 1 .

Composer

Pupil of Nadia Boulanger , he composed until 1958 essentially religious musical works, including a sacred symphony for alto voice and orchestra (1958) Concerto for 15 wind instruments and percussion (1956) Stele for a hero (1949 ), Pieta (1950) Mystery of Jesus (1953), Two ballads (1949-1956) Preludes and String Quartet (1955) and song cycles (1941-1950).

Writer

Since 1942, Michel Ciry holds his newspaper whose first volume was published in 1971. The 25 volumes published in the Journal are in the form of notes written on a daily basis. Lack of publisher, date stops in 2001.
