Many bibliophiles since 1975 :

What characterizes the art of VALADIE is a very particular sense of arabesque : the drawing is of a rare quality balance. The line combines precision and finesse with the cutting sharpness of surgical instruments . Undoubtedly , the artist grows up counting his compositions , he tries to purify always more to find the clearest and most sensual trait .

His work stands as a constant quest for beauty, research and perfection. The charm and force of the first jet ...
His wanderlust took him since 1970 around the world ...

He exhibited regularly in the USA, Australia, New Zealand , South Africa , Europe.

Crazy in love with open spaces and in particular the desert where the mineralness, dry and pure, transports on into a time and space where the hand of man has altered nothing, VALADIE remains this eternal voyager pursuing, till the farthest and remotest parts of this planet, his vision of an original world.

From this confrontation between the Artist and the subject which obsesses him - the purity of the origins of life, the savage beauty of world prior to civilization - come to life in his canvases which are but a long, vibrating song of love for this earth.

To enter into this poetic universe of VALADIE, is to refind hidden in our collective unconscious the souvenir of a hapiness lost forever, the emotions from a world at the origin of life where the glows and the bluish wisps suffuse the virgin spaces of the human imprint.

The immense shores peopled with animals, happy and free, the burning deserts of the flint, the savage and unexplored abysses, VALADIE remakes the world, to inhabit without volating it. Against this background he sets forth woman, soft and of extreme beauty, who carries in her the promise of a thousand pleasures.

Woman, the lover of wind which caresses her plays with her hair.

Woman, the mistress of waves, whose gracious forms seem to have been specially created for playing in the waters.
Oh, this blue of the Southern Seas invades the canvas and leaves us drunken as from a deep deep dive.
Light, intense as the deserts, nuances softly contrasting the depths, VALADIE is a magician who restores to us a world in its exact and infinite beauty. And when Man appears, with him springs forth anxiety, a pack of staghounds in pursuit of their prey, spectators exalting violence during the cock fight or man disguised under the mask of comedy.
Woman still has the final world. Divine creature for all eternity, strong and fragile, she carries in her all the promises of the future of the world and leaves us with hope.
